– Russia is quite competitive in the field of high technologies

TAEK (Turkish Atomic Energy Authority) has recognized that the offer of Atomstroyexport concerning the construction of Turkey’s first NPP meets the technological criteria

The success of Atomstroyexport in the tender for the construction of a nuclear power plant in Turkey has proved that Russia is quite competitive in the field of high technologies.

It can build safe and technologically sophisticated facilities in any country. The approval of the technological parameters of the Russian project has proved that the Turks trust the Russian party and we must justify their expectations.

The construction of a nuclear power plant in Turkey will boost our machine building and nuclear industries. The price factor is very important in such cases but it is not as decisive as the political and technical factors are. In the last two factors Russia has already won.

In the last years Atomstroyexport has not been building at a loss and has not dumped prices. Today, our producers are equal to their western counterparts and must build NPPs at world prices.
