– Today, very many countries are starting to build NPPs

TAEK (Turkish Atomic Energy Authority) has recognized that the offer of Atomstroyexport concerning the construction of Turkey’s first NPP meets the technological criteria

As you may know, the key requirement to the Turkish NPP was compliance with modern technologies and innovative solutions and IAEA standards. The approval of Atomstroyexport’s technical offer by the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority is logical. Our projects meet all the above-mentioned criteria. Today, we have few real rivals on the market. Some of our rivals are experiencing certain difficulties in implementing foreign projects while Russian Atomstroyexport is successfully building nuclear reactors in India and Bulgaria and has already launched two reactors in China. So, it is quite logical that the Turks have approved our offer. I think that we have very good prospects in that country.

I think that our positions on the NPP construction market are becoming increasingly confident as we are developing our WWER technologies inside our country. I think that our economic offers are also acceptable to the West.

The technical offer presented to TAEK is based on the best ideas applied at Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant in China. We have offered quite new safety parameters and this has made our projects more attractive.

The success in this tender will be not just one more victory but a step into the future. Today, very many countries are considering the prospects of building NPPs. So, we need to gain an image of reliable supplier of modern technologies and innovative solutions in this field.
