— Meetings of the Coordination group are a useful instrument

I think that international cooperation in this project is important. Meetings of the Coordination group are a useful instrument. It is important that this instrument exists and works. It facilitates information exchange between donors, it gives the possibility to meet and discuss issues. I think it is important to have such meetings once or twice a year in order to all of us could have full picture of the project implementation.

As regards to our part of the project, important results were achieved in 2008. First of all I mean signature of the contract for the construction of the ship for radioactive waste transportation. It was a very hard job, because the negotiations lasted for more than six months. But finally in late July the contract was signed. Now we are working at the construction of facilities at Andreeva Bay.
