The forthcoming ATOMEXPO 2009 international forum will be the logical highlight of this year. It is not a secret that the scarcity of oil and gas and the growing consumption of electricity have boosted the demand for nuclear energy in the last years. However, the global crisis has urged the countries actively using nuclear energy to pay special attention to economy and joint use of available resources. International cooperation is the best way for different states to rationally implement their national programs.

ATOMEXPO 2009 is designed exactly for fostering such cooperation.
