– JSC is more transparent than FSUE

The Government will allocate additional funds for supporting nuclear weapons complex, Director General of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation Sergey Kiriyenko said after the conference on the development and optimization of the nuclear complex held by Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin at VNIIA on May 20 2009.

The reorganization of nuclear companies is essential. At least, this is the requirement of the legislation. Joint stock companies are more transparent than federal state unitary enterprises. Banks are ready to finance JSCs but not FSUEs. The fears that corporized nuclear companies may get into private hands are ridiculous. Nobody will allow this to happen.
