– Russia is going up to a new level of cooperation in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy

Atomexpo 2009 international forum is taking place in Moscow May 26–28.

We have very good impressions of this forum. When we came here, we did not yet know what kind of forum it would be. We have attended the plenary session the roundtables and have demonstrated our products at the exhibition. We are very glad that we have come here. It was a good opportunity to communicate with our colleagues and friends from Russia and other states. It was a real pleasure for us to be in Moscow and to speak about partnership.

Areva takes part in lots of international conferences worldwide but Atomexpo 2009 has shown us the nuclear renaissance from the Russian perspective. I think that Atomexpo will suggest us new ideas of cooperation. Nuclear renaissance was in the air. We spoke about our efforts and problems (there are number of common problems like search for investors, development of industrial capacities for equipment production, education, training of specialists).

Areva cooperates with Russia in different segments of the nuclear industry. We believe that we have positive experience of communication with our Russian colleagues and can continue this cooperation.
