It is obvious that all those participating in Atomexpo forum seek to develop nuclear energy. All of them want to strengthen their ties so as to improve their cooperation and give priority to the aspect of competitiveness. The nuclear renaissance will depend on the effectiveness of this cooperation. Forums like Atomexpo are very important for such processes. In a few years our cooperation will be stronger.

As regards the Russian-Hungarian cooperation in the field of peaceful use of nuclear energy, the existing Hungarian reactors want to have even better fuel and need technical support in dealing with spent nuclear fuel. The Russians have quite good chances among the three-four potential suppliers of Hungary’s future reactors. The supplier will be selected through a tender but in Hungary the WWER culture is quite strong and we will readily consider Russia’s offer.
