Rosatom State Corporation approved the decision to establish on the basis of JSC “TVEL” (a 100% subsidiary of ”Atomenergoprom”) the Fuel Company. This decision was made as the implementation of measures to restructure the Nuclear Power Industry in order to improve its efficiency.

In accordance with the decision, in the first phase, there will be implemented transfer to JSC “TVEL” shares of JSC “Combined company «separation-sublimating complex» ( «OK» RSK «, a 100%» subsidiary of JSC «Atomenergoprom”, consolidates 100% of shares of sublimatno-dividing plants – “Angarsk Electrolysis Chemical Works“,» PA «Electrochemical Plant», «Ural Electrochemical Plant» and JSC «Siberian Chemical Complex»).

In addition, to JSC “TVEL” there will be transferred 100% shares of JSC «Engineering Center“, “Russian gas centrifuges”, which integrates the enterprises of nuclear industry involved in the development and production of the major (gas centrifuges) and auxiliary equipment for the dividing enterprises — JSC» Vladimir Production association “Tochmash «, JSC» Kovrov Mechanical Plant «, JSC» Design Bureau, Nizhny Novgorod «, JSC» Centrotech SPb”, LLC «Novouralsk research and design center», LLC «Novouralsk Instrument-Making Plant», LLC «Ural Plant of gas centrifuges“ .

Moreover, a single corporate structure provides a competitive advantage in foreign markets thanks to greater flexibility in the negotiation process with respect to the price and volume, as well as with regard to quickness of decision-making, due to the smaller number of coordinating parties.
