— I know about FAPP for long time. Probably, commencing from the appearance of such ideas in Russia because I deal with the nuclear industry due to my professional activities. Reactor plants on submarines have proven their reliability. Floating nuclear power plants will be notable for the same reliability and security — a technology is well known and worked through. I remember how people were afraid to fly, when they first appeared in our country. Nowadays we are ready to fly into space, it appeared even such a concept — space tourism. Mankind is going ahead. And if you look around, it is hard not to notice that the world has ceased to fear the atom: in France, electricity produced at nuclear power plants takes almost 80% of the generation volume, Japan has experienced a nuclear bomb, it is also not afraid of the peaceful atom. Why be afraid? On just has to handle it competently. Russia has the experience of this. And perhaps in a few years not only floating NPP, but thermonuclear station will be a commonplace in our lives.
