— The launch of the 1st unit of Tianwan NPP will become a basis for 6–8 more projects in China

The launch of the 1st unit of Tianwan NPP in China will become a strong basis for the construction of 6–8 new nuclear reactors in that country. I think that those units must be built by Russia.

Of course, there were many technical deficiencies at Tianwan but this is natural for any project. China is Russia’s real friend. No country can live without friends. Chinese-Russian nuclear cooperation is very important and promising and nuclear power engineering is China’s future.

We have excellent experience of cooperation. For example, we have built a gas centrifugal uranium enrichment plant for China. I am sure that we will further cooperate in no less promising spheres.
