— With the adoption of the law on nuclear reforms, the Russian nuclear power sector will become competitive on the world market

The adoption of the “tunnel law” in the third reading has proved the urgency and the diversity of the processes developing in the Russian and international nuclear power sectors today. On the one hand, the world leading nuclear companies are tending to consolidate; on the other, the nuclear power industry is experiencing renaissance. With the adoption of the law on nuclear reforms and the formation of a vertically-integrated holding Atomenergoprom, the Russian nuclear power industry will become more competitive on the world market, will get more room for maneuvering under market conditions and will optimize its expenses by avoiding duplication of processes. The “green light” to the development of the nuclear power sector was given by the Message of the President to the Federal Assembly. And the sector is developing in full compliance with the concept approved by the Government.
