— The agreement on the construction of 4 more units in India is a big victory

The agreement India and Russia signed today is an important stage of what we call “the renaissance of nuclear power engineering.” This step is crucial for the development of not only the Russian energy industry but also the global power engineering in the coming years. This is a huge project and it will certainly boost our energy complex. Russia should gradually become a leader in the world. In this light, the construction of 4 units at Kudankulam is a serious victory. In fact, we have won in the fight for the nuclear segment of the Indian market.

We have been waiting for the signing of an international agreement in order to agree with Atomstroyexport on the supply of boron shim equipment to Kudankulam. This is our contribution to the project. Now, we are actively preparing for increasing our production and are planning to modernize this equipment to make it more competitive in the world.
