– This is an unprecedented victory of the Russian nuclear power engineers

This is a very important moment: we all are proud of our nuclear power engineers and, particularly, Atomstroyexport, who has launched the 1st unit of Tianwan NPP (China) after a long pause in NPP construction abroad. As far as I know, neither the French nor the Americans can boast of such achievements. This has given Russia a big competitive edge in the fight for the world markets.

This is an unprecedented victory of our nuclear power engineers. We have proved that Russia can supply not only oil and gas but also high technologies. NPP is a complex facility requiring up-to-the-minute technologies and engineering solutions. The unit we have built in China is generally recognized as the safest in the world for the moment.

This project is the result of mutually beneficial partnership between Russia and China, an example of fruitful cooperation. The sides are jointly solving problems and have well adjusted their interaction on the site. All this proves that Atomstroyexport has a very efficient management system. Efficient management is, first of all, the ability to establish efficient cooperation among all participants in a project. I think ASE did it well.

The work done so far is a good pledge of the general success of the Tianwan NPP project. Today, we are celebrating our victory and I would like to congratulate all the companies involved in the project.
