— Construction of Novovoronezh NPP-2 is essential for political and economic security of Russia

The construction of NNPP-2 is a very serious prospect for Novovoronezh.

The existing NPP fully satisfies the needs of Voronezh and Voronezh region. The 3rd and 4th units will be decommissioned in 2017. So, by that time we should have substituting capacities.

The launch of this project will give a good start to the Federal Nuclear Energy Development Program.

I was present at the public discussion of the NNPP-2 prospects and saw joy in the eyes of the local residents. They believe in this project and see great benefits in it.
