– Russia might have stopped HEU Agreement in 2001

The decision of Stockholm Arbitration Court was tough but fair and can serve as an example of how to settle similar situations.

I believe that Russia might have stopped HEU Agreement in 2001, when the US withdrew from ABM Treaty 1972. Still I think that the Agreement will live till 2013. It is obvious that we owe nothing to them. Their alleged “lost profit” sounds like chimera to me.

The verdict by one of the most authoritative business courts in the world has shown that Russia protects its interests in the nuclear power sector by legal means and will do it in the future.
