– There can be no two ways about the necessity to build NovNPP-2

In the near future all the units of the plant will exhaust their resources. That’s why it needs additional capacities.

The plant has highly qualified personnel, who are ready to operate the 6th and 7th units — in fact, the 1st and 2nd units of Novovoronezh NPP-2.

When adopting a decision on a new construction one should think about economy development, demography, industry, SMEs – all these spheres need energy. So, here we need a feasibility study.

For this region the electricity produced by NovNPP has long become a traditional type of energy and it would be wrong to make any changes in this situation. That’s why NovNPP-2 is a logical and well-grounded project.

In my opinion, the directors of the project are right when regularly informing the public of their decisions and measures. The explanatory work should be carried out by those who have taken an immediate part in the improvement of the NPP-2006 project.

Novovoronezh NPP-2 is an inalienable part of the federal energy program and there can be no two ways about it – it must be built.
