Nikolay Yermoshkin, vice president for strategy of Industrial Investors company

— In order to be successful one must think in global categories

The task of the forum was to pick out some of the projects we have developed so far and to use them in other industries. This is a good mission and this is the right way to do it.

As far as I understand, this forum was not the only way to search for interesting projects and sponsors for them. This is a constant process.

I see nuclear innovations for the first time but just a glance is enough to see that they have good potential and are quite attractive. It’s hard to say how many projects exactly will be put into practice and on what markets. For example, water treatment projects can be sold to many countries. This is multi-billion world market. If we set up an efficient high-tech company, it will be able to supply filters to Mali, Angola and even to some regions of Spain, Italy and the US. The better technologies we will supply the bigger profit we will make.

During the forum one of the speakers said that Russia’s technologies make up 0.3% of the world market. Today, in order to be successful you must think in global categories, you must imagine that you are a world player. Presently, Russian companies are facing lots of problems. And such forums are a good opportunity to solve them – to kind of get a foothold. I would like to see more companies showing interest in our technologies, companies like General Electric, Westinghouse-Toshiba, AREVA.
