The deal for receiving $1,000,000,000’s worth of Australian uranium a year is one more serious success of our nuclear power engineers on the world market. Of course, we have our own uranium and it will suffice us for decades. We also have uranium mining JVs in Kazakhstan. But cooperation with a continental state in such a sensitive sphere will certainly enhance our influence on the world economy. 

Until now Australian uranium companies have had no access to the Russian market. Today, we have given them such a chance and now we will be able to use their uranium at our new NPPs as well as to sell it on the world market. This deal means additional job for our uranium enrichment capacities.
