The submission of the bill on the establishment of Rosatom state corporation for the State Duma’s consideration was a long-awaited and logical step in the development of our nuclear power industry. The corporation will manage the whole industry with its civil and military sectors and will bring nuclear companies under one roof.

The corporation will also comprise research institutes and nuclear and radiation safety facilities as well as 100% of Atomenergoprom, a holding controlling all the leading companies of the civil nuclear sector. The corporation will work on both domestic and foreign markets and will serve our national interests in the sphere of defense. Rosatom state corporation will not just preserve the “Rosatom” brand, it will make Russia highly competitive on the world market.
