— The establishment of Rosatom state corporation will help us to solve our ecological problems

I am firmly convinced that the establishment of Rosatom state corporation, uniting the civil and military sectors of our nuclear industry, will help us to solve our ecological problems.

Just look at other Russian state corporations – Rosvooruzhenie (Armscontrol), United Aircraft Building Corporation, Nanotech – they are working quite efficiently. Obviously, state corporations are more efficient in managing production processes and attracting investments.

As regards ecology, it directly depends on investments. Today, Rosatom is moving in the right direction: it is solving old ecological problems. I am absolutely convinced that the construction of new NPPs and decommissioning of gas plants will solve our global ecological problems. Rosatom state corporation will help us to build NPPs and, in my opinion, NPPs are a panacea to the global ecological problem of greenhouse effect.

State corporation is the most effective form of managing the nuclear industry, while consolidation of functions in one center is the best solution to its problems. I have visited both Mayak PA and the village of Muslumovo and I think that Rosatom corporation will help us to solve these problems more quickly and easily.
