Our project meets all the world standards. It is based on NPP-92, a reactor we have already built at Tianwan NPP in China. China is one of the leading nuclear powers and sets very tough requirements to the safety and economic efficiency of nuclear reactors.

Belene NPP project meets all safety and efficiency standards. Our reactors are very competitive. The project has been approved by EUR. Today, Rosatom is successfully competing with western nuclear corporations. One of our key competitive advantages is that we take back our spent nuclear fuel. Besides, Belene NPP is a social project.

I am sure that the construction of Belene NPP will stimulate economic growth in the region and will give a new impulse to the development of Bulgaria.
