In administration of Tomsk region, issues of NPP construction with builders were discussed

On 3 March, deputy governor on special important projects Sergey Tochilin performed meeting with managers of construction sector enterprises of Tomsk region. In the meeting, representatives of JSC «Atomenergoproject» (Moscow) – engineering company that performs designing and construction of nuclear power plants participated

The meeting participants were informed about the requirements made to works executives on NPP construction. In particular, it was spoken about order of carrying out of tenders on selection of work executives, about balance cost of work and payment conditions, about opportunity and conditions of participation of Tomsk enterprises in works execution at functioning building projects (for instance, Novovoronezh NPP-2).

As explained head of administration of building and construction works of JSC «Atomenergoproject» Leonid Egorov, at construction of nuclear power plants, requirements to staff of any level and technological level of contractor enterprises are the strictest. The enterprises must be equipped with respective systems of quality management and modern forms of control, including tools and laboratories, have all authorizations and accreditation in system of SC «Rosatom». Increased requirements to contractors are made regarding labor protection and safety measures.

Managers of Tomsk construction enterprises asked a series of questions regarding system of accreditation and other requirements made to construction companies. At the meeting, issues of construction of engineering and social infrastructure of the future plant were discussed.

Summarizing the meeting, Sergey Tochilin noted that the result of this meeting should be registry of construction organizations which are potential participants of construction of Seversk NPP. He also emphasized that observance of the unified branch standard of Rosatom is not caprice of the state corporation but necessity for provision of safety operation level of nuclear power sector objects.

«Today for us experience of construction of nuclear power plants in other regions is very important, and Tomsk builders should actively use the available time to understand requirements of Rosatom and enter the system before the beginning of the construction, — noted vice governor. – Tomsk builders are quire able to meet all requirements of the state corporation. When the construction begins, there will be enough work for everyone».

Total number of people engaged in construction sector of Tomsk region is 22 900. The total amount of work performed in the «Construction» activity type in the previous year, — 32 098 mln. rubles.
