The first branch Grinatom CJSC of Rosatom State Corporation Multifunctional Common Service Center has been opened in Novosibirsk.

Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant, being a part of TVEL, a fuel company, became the first client of the branch.

Within the framework of the program aimed at efficiency upgrading and cost reduction NCCP made it its mission to place a number of services for outsourcing, including IT and local telephone communications. As a result of the research TVEL OJSC management expressed its initiative to transfer these functions to Grinatom CJSC. The transfer of one of the largest enterprises of the fuel company to service in Multifunctional Common Service Center is an important part of the efforts aimed at efficiency and company’s competitiveness upgrading which are undertaken within the frame work of the FEU and IT Transformation and “Novy Oblik” Programs.

Cooperation with Grinatom is important for TVEL OJSC from the social point of view as well, as the former employees of NCCP IT departments started working in the branch of the powerful, rapidly developing company.

The Common Service Center will provide NCCP and its four branches with a full package of IT services, including user support, plant IT-infrastructure, and local telephone communication (in July Grinatom became a federal service provider). The total number of users serviced by Multifunctional Common Service Center will amount to 1,800 persons. General Director of NCCP JSC Vladimir Rozhkov said: “In connection with transfer to the service in Multifunctional Common Service Center we expect improvement of IT support quality and reduction of enterprise’s costs for IT-support in the nearest future”.

Further, other enterprises of the power industry located in the region will be transferred to service in Multifunctional Common Service Center as well. General Director of Multifunctional Common Service Center Mikhail Ermolayev noted that: “While the regional enterprises are transferring to the service of Multifunctional Common Service Center we are going to open branches in other regions where nuclear power enterprises are located”.
