More than 242 million rubles will be contributed to construction of Baltic NPP

More than 242 million rubles will be contributed in construction of Baltic NPP in Kaliningrad region in August, 2010

In particular, the plans for August include commencement of drainage excavation of the power unit nuclear island and a temporary housing settlement in the territory of the construction site as well as construction of the ready-mix unit.

Currently, 396 people take part in construction of Baltic NPP in Kaliningrad region, 335 of them are residents of Kaliningrad region.

Baltic nuclear power plant was founded in February 2010 in Neman district of Kaliningrad region. The NPP will consist of two power units of total capacity 2.3 GW. The first unit is to be started in 2010, and the second – in 2018.
