Photo exhibition «Country of Rosatom” went on in the Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University

Photo exhibition «Country of Rosatom” is going on in the largest technical university of the Volga Federal District. The purpose of the photo exhibition is to show inhabitants of the region what is today the nuclear industry in Russia.

As Vice-Chancellor, Director of the Institute of Nuclear Energy and Technical Physics, NSTU Sergey Dmitriev noted — placing of exposition directly in the educational building of university would enable students to get an idea of the scope and technological diversity of industry in which they plan to work after graduation.

«Photo Exhibition gave our students an unique opportunity: having their study in Nizhny Novgorod they can select potentially interesting place of work and correlate it with their curriculum,» — Sergey Dmitriev said at his opening speech.

Photo exhibition «Country of Rosatom” is intended to provide a notion of the nuclear industry’s structure, to tell about its state and prospects of development, its contribution to the socio-economic development of regions of location.

At the exhibition there are presented the works of professional photographers and ordinary employees of the enterprises of nuclear industry from different parts of Russia.

It is planned that after presentation in Nizhny Novgorod the photo exhibition «Country of Rosatom” will proceed to Navashinsky area — the construction site of Nizhny Novgorod NPP. Next year, the photo exhibition will be presented in other regions of Russia.

On 13th December the photo exhibition «Country of Rosatom” opened at the Public Chamber of Nizhny Novgorod region.

The organizer and sponsor of the photo exhibition is Atomenergoprom JSC.
