Within the framework of the EMERCOM decade a class for the senior high school students from the summer labor camp of school No. 3 dedicated to the rules of conduct, safety measures near water and first aid dressing for the drowning was held on the 25th of August in Tomsk Information Centre of nuclear power industry.
Aleksey Nabiyev, an inspector of the State Small Boat Inspection (SSBI) of the EMERCOM of Russia in Tomsk region, delivered an informative lecture to the guys. Using information posters he explained to them the rules of conduct near water basins in summer and winter and showed them a documentary film about the rules of first aid dressing. The material was solidified and the received knowledge was checked in the form of a quiz specially developed by the employees of the information center. All the guys perfectly managed the tasks. The main prize for all participants was the “Nuclear Power World” session and souvenirs.
Natalya Eremeyeva, the head of the group, a life safety teacher of school No.3, enjoyed the meeting and offered its organizers to hold such classes in the centre during September for the students of school No. 3. Before that, the Order of Education Department of Tomsk Administration of 04.08.2010 N 887 “On measures of watchfulness enhancement and health and life security protection of educational institution students in the beginning of 2010/2011 academic year” had been issued. Representatives of the center and SSBI supported the initiative.
“The safety decade of the EMERCOM in the Information centre of nuclear power industry has developed into a month’s campaign and it means that this work trend is popular and actual’, Sergey Shalyapin, the head of the center, summarized.
